He was Davids' son. Long before Christ was on earth, and even longer before Christianity was itself a religion. Solomon was a Jew. He was wise because he asked God for a blessing of wisdom. He built the temple, though David wanted to build the temple, he was a warrior and God wanted a man of peace to build His temple. He is also known for having 300 wives and 700 concubines, a lot of his wives were for political alliances, but that could hardly be called wise. He was the king's son and became king. Other sons of David who might of been king died or were murdered.
What are you trying to ask exactly?

I did not know the man

to draw others to the God of Abraham
even when he sinned he knew how to go down
on his knees and ask for forgivness .
Now this is Zorro to the point

The only information that I have read about King Solomon indicates that he was one of the wisest Jewish Kings, one of the sons of King David. I have not come across any other information to make me believe he was anything but Jewish.

He led the Hebrew tribes before Christianity was formed, so I'd assume he's important in Judaism.

Solomon was only 1400 years before Christ.
