Seeing things and talking to things especially so called "spirits" is never a good thing. While in Bible times angels as well as God delivered messages to people, they never just hung out and talked. They had specific messages to give and then they were gone. That method of communication is no longer necessary today because of the Bible. If it's supposed "dead people", when you learn the state of the dead (Genesis 3:19) and that they are concious of nothing at all (Ecclesisastes 9:5). Then that rules out angels having some important message to share as well as some dead relative or other person chatting. You need to talk further with your child to determine if it's just an imagination or if he really is being bothered by evil spirts. Try praying with your child out loud and ask that they leave him alone. Always pray using God's actual name, because it is powerful. God, Lord etc are just titles like President or Prime Minister. Try a Kings James Version at (Psalms 83:18) to find his real name. I hope everything works out for both of you.

Christians, in general, believe that the apostles had a special calling by Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit to present God's revelation to the world. When they had finished proclaiming (at their death), the revelation of God was complete until Jesus' return.
So your son is not receiving new revelation. He does show a high interest and openness to Christian teaching (the death and resurrection of Jesus). Regular reading of God's Word, attendance at a local church Sunday school and perhaps a home Bible study would be a good start.
God bless you and your son.

This could be taking place for many reasons. 1. It may be psychologically..maybe he is feeling lonely (no siblings, no friends, lacks social relationships) thus he is speaking to God as if he was a friend or something. 2. It may be true he is seeing a figure of someone as I experience it very much but in my case I have been talking and feeling the presence of my grandfather who has been dead for around 12 years but I was 16 years old when I first started realizing this. I have spoken to a priest and he has helped me very much..in fact I confirmed that it was true as my first experience that I have seen and spoke to him, he asked me to go on his tomb and I found out that his body was moved. Speak to your son...ask him about him, what he tells him, how he looks, is he afraid of him...take care that what he is telling him is good...I don't want to make you afraid of this but if his case is the last one, it may not be really God who is speaking but a kind of evil spirit using God's figure....take care and see that you get help from any religious person you believe in...in my case it is Catholic

Don't freak girlfriend. He's 5? It's normal. At 15 or 20, I'd start questioning it.
Seriously. Children are much easier to talk to than grown ups, so if he said God told Him something (especially when it goes along with Scripture), I'd say he's probably just talking to God.

I believe your son may have received one of the greatest gifts that a living person can receive. but if anyone else in your house sees strange things I would be cautious. Satan can try to gain a foothold in many ways. God bless you.

Kids are more in tune to the spiritual world than adults are, because for the most part they're still innocent. Are you a Christian? I would watch out for him of course since he's your son, but if he's telling you about Jesus' death and resurrection in that way and possibly seeing angels, then he's well protected :)

Consider talking to your pastor about this, he may be having visitations from a spirit of some sort, either good or evil...it may be the devil in disguise, so be careful and be aware of the spiritual warfare that may be occuring in your house.

Kids are weird. If this is still going on at ten, consult a child psychiatrist.

He may be psychic. He may be an indigo child. He may be talking to "ghosts." Or he might have a vivid imagination.
