I wouldn't convince you because you shouldn't go there since everyone else goes there. Try somewhere different like Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai or Pattaya. Be adventurous and be different!

Because Phuket is known as the pearl of the Andaman seas..!

For me, the breath-taking sceneries, clear blue waters, great waves, great food and friendly people are sufficiently good reasons for me to go back to Phuket again.. If you're a foreigner there, you also wouldn't have to struggle much with the medium of communication in Phuket because a large number of the locals speak and understand English (though not all perfectly correct English).. For me, I'd prefer Phuket than Bangkok; just hoping that there won't be another tsunami there.. Hehe.. =)

Anyways, don't get people to convince you to go vacation at anywhere.. You can decide it for yourself, when all the facts are presented to you.. All the best!

Phuket is amazing, the beaches are nice, there are wonderful animal shows ( tigers, snakes etc) and great shopping, the people are friendly and very outgoing and it is cheap. But it is also a very busy tourist town so it will be a little more expensive and more crowded( but not as bad as Bangkok) My favorite place however is Chiang Mai, it is in the northern part of Thailand in the hill country. It seemed like the most peaceful place on earth.

Well, for a start, that place is named among the top 10 beach holiday spot in the world, the only one in Asia. So tells you the place is quite unique. Many had been there and fell in love with the clear waters, white sandy beaches and the many unique and lovely islands to visit. Plus you get the freshest seafood that you will ever come across. And Thai cuisine is quite well-known in the world. All these makes for a remarkable experience for the visitor.

And these are not the only attractions there. Visit the Thailand website to learm about other places and things you can do there. You can convince yourself then.

And you will be smiling at the cost to you.

Find some place that you WANT to go to. If you have to be convinced to go somewhere then you probably shouldn't bother.

The goal of the websites below is to convince people to vacation in Thailand.
