Don't join the military, they keep you in forever, they keep extending your terms, you are basically an underpaid bodyguard for Halliburton contractors, and then if you get injured they have started making you pay for your meals in the hospital. Oh and they cut veterans benefits too. They call that supporting the troops. Amusing.

I've checked all my DoD articles, releases and updates. They list no such action. I also checked with another source which keeps a very updated list and as of right now, there's no listing for any of this.

I don't think he's celebrating the deaths of our troops, he's pointing out that the republican military is failing right now (as evidenced by the steady deaths of troops everyday with no progress) and nothing is getting done in Iraq. THAT IS NOT A GOOD THING. The stupid republican argument about liberals not supporting our troops is trash, the republicans have resorted to stamping all who oppose as "heartless bastards who long to see the death of our great nation." Nobody wants our troops to die. Period. Don't be an idiot.

Promithius, as a Canadian , we have lost 9 solders in Afghanistan so far this month, as for the rest I agree with you. Make yourself aware of what is going on in the world, outside of the "Great and Glorious USA. My sincerest sympathy goes out to all who have lost someone in Iraq Or Afghanistan. May God protect them and bring them home safely. This is not a Republican army, it is your nation's army a**h**e.
