Honestly, practice tests are the best way to go. The types of questions asked don't change much from year to year. Taking practice tests helps you to figure out the format of the test and how to solve certain types of problems.

Know the rules of each of the math divisions (Alegbra, Geometry, etc...) tested, and know how to do them properly. Formulas are a must. Also there are good SAT study books at your local bookstore or online. Testing like this is also based on timing, so if you are spending more than 2-3 mins. on one question, skip it and go to the next one. If you have time at the end, go back and finish those questions. Sometimes you can also plug in the multiple choice answers into the question one at a time to find the right one.

Practice tests are a must. Get the book of real SATs from the College Board. Also, "Up Your Score: the Underground Guide to the SATs".

Practice practice practice. Practice your timing, brush up on the math rules you don't get, learn when to skip questions.

Good luck!

Prepare yourself by making sure that you can achieve 100% on each math lesson. Use Saxon Math. Do a lesson --- check for errors, do the lesson again until it is perfect. Do this every day, 6 days each week. Focus, focus, focus. If you don't want to practice SAT's then make sure that your math knowledge is mastered. Study with perfection in mind -- not necessarily the first time through but keep going over and over again until it is perfect -- or at least 95% correct.

Good luck!!!

back once I took it I have been given a 27 devoid of any attempt (fortuitously i circulate to an engineering college that purely looks at math and technology). you ought to isolate the themes which you had the backside scores for. for all the themes, you ought to mindset the questions in a various way. Math you in certainty the two comprehend it or do no longer. you ought to use mindset of removing or working backward to ensure the respond, yet generally they have 2 or greater solutions that make experience. For technology and examining, it is useful to study the questions earlier you study any of the long passages. different than that, it would not harm to study slightly. i'm undecided how lots the try has replaced interior the years in view that I surely have taken it, yet those are some concepts that artwork for many standardized tests.
