Yes.
"Wedding season" is April to September.
Months that are outside of that are less popular due to the higher chance of wet and/or cold weather. You can find some great deals if you choose to get married out of season. Most places jack their prices then since summer months are in such high demand. They lower them again in the fall.

The first half of the month, maybe. The latter half of the month, no way. That's a peak time for weddings. Many people plan weddings around the Christmas and New Years holidays. I would think even finding a location the first half of the month would be a challenge, and not many places would be willing to negotiate a price, since they know someone will probably come along next week wanting the space for the same weekend for a holiday party. I got married January 16, and was able to get quite a few breaks in prices from vendors, simply because they were done with all the holiday madness, and wanted some business.

Yeah, it's off peak for weddings, but high-season for holiday parties and events. In reality, it doesn't change much if you're in an area that's always busy. I've found that the different between Friday night costs and Saturday night costs were much more significant than the different between a June date and a December one.

Yes it's an off peak month, but these days people are getting married at all times of the year.

December is considered an off-peak month, but you are nearing Christmas and that will cause prices to soar.

Not anymore. There are many December brides out there, so it's now a peak month.
