OK I used to put on my best clothes, shave close, scrub myself in the shower etc, and all the other things guys do to impress girls.
But now on the odd occasion I dont shave, and go out in my work clothes after a day of working hard, and I simply could not care less. My attitude if someone likes me, clothes etc should not be a deterring factor.
I still get exactly the same amount of eye contact and chat and come ons I used to get when all spruced up.
So I reckon it just does not matter how you appear as long as you have confidence, chat, wit etc..

Sure u are right. Your comfortable in your own skin. That in it self is sexy. But come on sometime your gonna have to take a shower and shave. right?

Well sometimes that is true. But if you go to the same places often enough, I'm sure most of the ppl around know you have a good rep about you and you work hard and a good guy. But try it with some other dude that always comes in bummy, never tries to shave or get a hair cut or even make the effort. He'll get a rep too as the dude too lazy to do anything for himself and needs someone to take care of him. Keep up what you are doing and keep the good rep, cuz you attract more bees with a good job and well place demeanor about yourself than looking like the bum off the corner.

I think it is a matter of the impression you want to give. Do you want to meet somebody in your grubbies and all dirty? Or give a little thought to your appearance and appear clean and neat when you meet that fine girl? It's up to you.
But I would definitely dress up, put on colongne, etc.. if you are on a date. Because that says that you took the time to take care of yourself and you care about that person enough to look good.

yea but even if someone bases u on only ur personilty they dont want you to smell, if u dress nice and shave take showers they will like u cause they know if u take care of urself well then u can take care of them. just because uve given up breacause ur heart probably got broken, get back to where u use to be, or u will never find love.

ok maybe the shaving part and dressing well dont alway matter, but the showering part is certainly a must! unless you showered the day before and dont stink that bad, and there is alway cologne.

No, it doesn't matter if a guy dresses well and cares about his apperance, but not where it turns him conceited =P Conceited, high maintence guys? NO NO.
