My son, who is 4 years old has a tooth that is rotten and needs to be removed and a spacer put in but I do not know of any dentist that will accept medicaid to have it done.

I would check out local dental schools, I know the University of Michigan accepts medicaid. I have heard about private offices accepting it, but on a walk in appointment basis...meaning you have to wait all day possiably for someone to see you. Check out the University of Illinois, it may be a drive, but they possiably even have a payment plan if medicaid doesn't cover all procedures. Good Luck

call the medicaid office and they can give you a list of dentist that take it in your area!
