Being an engineer (Degree/Diploma) and have knowledge of different aspects of instrument applications knowledge of automobile parts-functionalities and experience of such as how to use various types of instruments to measure the Different types of dimensions like depth,width,height and a sound knowledge of tolerances.To be a Successful Quality Engineer you also need to have sound knowledge of Quality System Standards like QMS, ISO,TS16949,QS. And more than this you need to have experience of working in an Automobile Sector-either in auto components manufacturing companies or in OEMs(Original Equipment manufacturers).

Automobile industry is the one of the people using products making very large (like vechile,vessels, food products etc. so quality engineering is very skillness. my answer is very confuse to the reader sorry for the distrubmens.

if you work for ford, dodge, gmc, etc... none. otherwise you'll probably need a great deal of formal education (such as a degree) and/or alot of experience.
