It's amazing that in this day and age people still have issues relating to dating another race.
Here's what you need to look at - is he a good person, can you see a future with him? That's all that matters - not the colour of the skin.
If more people in this world judged others on their personal qualities rather than race, religion, class, or any other ignorant reason, the world would be a better place.
If you like this guy get with him and don't worry about other people. The only peolpe to have objections are those not worth worrying about.

You know who cares what other people think, it is your and your fellas opinions that matter and it is absolutely nothing to do with anyone else, times have changed and the majority of people have moved on and for the ones that can't do that, then their problem and not yours, don't lose what could be the love of your life because of bigotry, we all have the same colour blood and love far outweighs colour any day, just ignore those who think they know best and enjoy been with a wonderful man, good luck.

Why should there be a problem? Are black people any less human in England than they are in America? If others have a problem, tell them you both were mature enough to realize that love is not on the oustide, its in your hearts.
Why are their people seeing in shades of gray when the world is so colorful?

Who cares what colour your skin is!!!!
If you are both happy, nothing else matters!
My best friend is white and Christian, she started dating a indian guy just over a year ago and he's great!
Her parents didn't like it and it does cause problems with cultural differences BUT they have ALL overcome the problems and he has been accepted. She too has been accepted in his family.
I think its great to see mixed couples dating!
I even bought my white daughter a black doll just to prove a point!

Screw others. You have found a decent guy, and should keep on being with him regardless of what others think. I mean there will be ppl out there that will hate you for the rest of your life, simply because you are brave enough for trully enjoying your life and they still can't find happiness anywhere at all. Besides its you two in the relationship. Not the rest of the world.

Girl forget other people. If you two get along and eventually fall in love, f*** those people. Someone will have something to say regardless. Whether he was black and you were white, or even if you both were men or women and gay. Who cares. Don't lose someone who cares about you over something like this. Racism is everywhere, and unfortunately still exist.

What's the problem. You're just imagining problems. Who cares? As long as you both are happy. England is a Christian country and doesn't the religion teach tolerance and that all men are equal?

Oh, some may. On the other hand, folks can always find something they don't like about a partner if they look a little bit whether they are white, black, brown, purple, or chartreuse
