Hello can anyone help me i want too copy a modem and other files from a computer that iam going to put windows

i have 98 se on one computer and i need to know how to save files to a USB jump drive so i can remove 98se and put xp on it

Just plug your usb jump drive into the usb port and hope your jump drive is recognized on a 98 os. If not, if your jump drive came with a driver, then you would need to install it to use your device. Once it is working, you just need to drag/drop your files within windows explorer.
