well, having children changes your entire body in every way.
or, if you have colored/bleached it. that ruins hair too...
sometimes, hair does change on its own though. my suggestion to you is, get a really good flat iron, like from a beauty supply store. i know its time consuming, but it really gets rid of all the frizz. my hair was destroyed after bleaching it. i couldnt even get a brush through it. when i used a flat iron, it got soft and silky and smooth.

It could be due to may factors such as using the wrong type of shampoo, to stress, to product buildup...One thing you can do that is usually in expensive is have your hair trimmed by a stylist every 6-8 weeks. I'm not talking inches off at at time just trimming the dead ends. Also you can go to your stylist and get something called a "Malibu Treatment" this worked for my mom who has very frizzy hair. It takes all the chemicals (not hair dye or perms) but like chlorine, hard water, etc and could help. Also a good stylist could offer you more advise on what type of shampoos and styling products to use to help prevent frizz in the future.

Yes it does. you should try to use some kind of leave in conditioner, along with deep conditioning.
environment, diet, stress, all of that contributes to the care of your hair and nails... try to change your products some, the older ones may not work for you any more and your hair might be sick of it.
when washing your hair, put an egg in the shampoo to help add protine to your hair. it gives it a good shine.
I know it also sounds weird but i stopped using shampoo. i only use conditioner now. it does not dry and strip my hair like the shampoo did...
Also some products just sit on your hair. (stuff with mineral oil in it) it does not go into the hair cutical. it just sits on top.
Try not to use products with alcohol in it. it will dry and damage your hair.
Heat damage is also a reason you could be experiancing a differance in your tresses.
it could be many many things.

I think it depends on your age. I believe hair does tend to change through the years. I have thick curly hair that tends to frizz if I dont use the right products. I use some good Aussie products. I would give them a try. Good luck

Did you happen to change your diet? Start any new medications, vitamins or herbal supplements? Are you ill? All of those can affect your hair.
Growing up, I had long, silky hair. It was fine but I had lots of it. When I had 2 separate kidney transplants my hair changed texture and stopped growing as fast. The doctors told me it was due to the medications. I am currently back on dialysis and my hair is now waist length.
So many things can affect your hair.

I think it is time and hormones. My hair didn't seem so bad when I was younger, but like yours, it seemed to have changed, and now I just put it up most of the time instead of trying to find something to deal with it.
Also, one of my brothers had nice, straight hair, but all of a sudden it turned into a curly mop! Just because he is getting older and going through growth spurts and all that.

U could have overprocessed your hair from perms and coloring. ALL U need to do is have a professional cut all ofhte split/damaged ends out and begin a hair treatment once a week. Hot oil treatments are still good. Herbal treatments work well too.

It is time for you to change your shampoo and conditioner or use a clarifying shampoo like Neutrogena to get rid of the build up. Also, try treating your hair to a mixture of Mayo, eggs and olive oil. Your hair will go back to its normal texture. Also, try taking Vitamin Bs and Biotin.

If you have virgin coconut oil at home, you can use this. Put it on hair and leave it for at least 30 minutes (You can do this at least 3x a day). Then rinse it off using your shampoo. The VCO can act as your hair lengthener and as your conditioner. :) Goodluck! :) (Look at my avatar if you want to see how well VCO works =P)
