I am 10 wks pregnant. Woke up yesterday with numb-ish left hand, a little sore. This continued all day. Last night it was very painful. I didn't sleep at all. Hand/wrist/thumb esp. sore to move and painful when still.
- Other info: two mosquito bites 3 days ago on left arm, treated swelling on one bite by lying with arm directly on a cold soda can. Possibly unrelated.
Questions?
- What could this be? Carpal tunnel? And is this likely to occur this early in pregnancy? Arthritis? Tendonitis?

It MIGHT be CT, but probably not so early in your pregnancy. You should be evaluated by your OB and see what's up - it could be nothing, or it might be something more serious - like a blood clot. Get seen ASAP.

Carpal Tunnel. I have it and it was a lot worse when I was PG all 3 times.

Carpal Tunnel! It is very common in pregancy. I had it. It went away immediatly after the baby was born.
