I mean do they like say to themselves "I'm going to bang the crap out of her" or do they think and pray to Jesus and do it as a duty?

Your thoughts please.

Check this out:
Forget those dirty smut books that conservative Christians always want to ban because they have hot sex in them, the Bible has in it all the greatest dirty hot sex stories of all time, stories so good they were canonized in the Holy Bible. That's right, Holy smut stories. The Bible has lots of sex with virgins outside of marriage solely for the sake of pleasure. Supposedly the Bible is a bastion of moral values, but as we shall see it is also a seething caldron of rape, incest, prostitution, seduction, adultery, lots and lots of unwanted pregnancies, and sometimes bloody violent revenge and outright murder, it's great! And you thought the Bible was boring? No way! We're going to dive right in and get to these good juicy stories. And hey, it's the Bible, what are you going to do, censure the Bible?

My roommate is very devote Mormon and doesn't believe sex should be for anything besides procreation [baby makin'!].
Now, he's also a virgin and may not have realized it feels damn good too.

We've had this talk before, or one similar and his guess is his thoughts would be on how much he loves his wife and would love to have a child come from that act.

His parents share the same religious beliefs but apparently refuse to discuss sex with him or his siblings, so he has no idea their feelings on the topic.

Good question though, or at least, a very curious one. Best of luck getting a touch more insight.

What do very religious people have in their minds when having sex?

Ahahaha, what would jesus do and this just can't be right, turn around.

Have a blessed day.

Only God knows, I suppose...each case being so different. My thoughts shouldn't matter at all, as I don't claim to be all that prudishly religious, especially, with regard to sex, since I genuinely feel that sex is also a creation of Nature, if restricted to ethical social limits.

My mind is pretty well focused on myself & my husband, and how awesome this is. Not a duty. Of course, I'm not "religious" by definition; I simply believe Jesus is the Way.

I am very religious and I look forward to as you would say in your words: "banging the crap out of her" and she loves it!!!

God made sex and the people who should enjoy it most and be the best lovers should be religious people.

I think my husband and I just focus on pleasing one another and enjoying ourselves. For me as a Christian, I see sex in my marriage, as a wonderful thing that helps us draw closer together and build our relationship. I don't think it should be oxymoronic for a religious person to be intimate with their spouse.

just my two cents.

Sex is a gift in marriage. Without being vulgar, sex can be whatever man and wife want it to be. It is meant to be enjoyed and doesn't have to support procreation.

Read "Song of Solomon" in the Bible. It may just blow your mind.

Years ago religion taught that you only have sex to bear children,
today it's an act of love and desire... in my eyes sex is an act of nature.
