Always assume that everything is directed at them. It seems that any question on this page that question religious beliefs at all is immediatly assumed to be about christians.
Even a question about a Greek God of long ago got some reponses from "upset" christians.

I dont do stuff like that...I only do this to a question when it says in clear and comprehensible letters "to Christians...", "why do Christians..." "Should Christians..." etc.

There are some people though who do think like anything is about their faith...just like almost any question regarding terrorism is immediately intercepted by certain Muslims.

It all boils down to bigotry, generalizations and sheer stupidity (and some of the posters to this question have already demonstrated this truth).

For whatever reason alot of Christians can't take ridicule of their religion. I am a Christian with a girlfriend who has not found what she is looking for religiously. I had a hard time at first, but it's not bad. I don't understand why I got upset, but I am getting alot better. I think that most feel they are losing numbers to other religions or non religions more and more, and bcoming a minority. But this has happened through all of history. The only reason it can be seen more now is that we are free, and will not be stoned or shunned for our choices... or at least we shouldn't be.

Christians are taught from an early age never to question their beliefs. The idea of people using reason and logic offends many of them.

When you said "Why do Christians?" I assumed this question was directed towards Christians. Was I wrong?

If you don't like answers you receive, don't ask... Just because someone offers a differing view base on their core values doesn't mean they are upset, they just disagree.. Try being more " tolerant">

christians take their religion very seriously so i suppose getting others to see things their way is of utmost importance to spreading the gospel they have all learnt. they believe in only one God (the trinity) so the mention of any other 'god' can really upset them as u see, one of their goals is get everyone to know that there's nothing such as 'other gods'. this is just my opinion anyway

They do seem to be a bit sensitive.... but I'm sure that not all of them are like that.
