Is this a true Republican?
I saw one this morning at the Big Boy restaurant. He had a "I support the troops" decal on his SUV. But when I ask him to send his one and only 20 year old son to Iraq his easy going demeanor turned sour. He looked as if he had crap in his mouth. ( Oh Yes! Don't you love those Republicans ) He said "I support the war as long as my children don't have to serve". Then, when he walked away I took the decal off his vehicle. ( I now have four of them ) Those war supporters are amazing aren't they? As long as other people fight their war they are all for it. What Americans!!

John McCain's son enlisted.

So you commit theft in support of your beliefs. Good for you, you really demonstrate the level of morals that go into opposing a war on the gounds of values. You don't really care about supporting or opposing a war as much as you want to point out hypocrisy and take it upon yourself as a self-righteous enforcer of your own code in a pathetic passive-aggressive petty theft.

What an American.

did you even study those articles? precise now, the militia consists of volunteers. at times, those volunteers are interior the militia as area of a plan to greater useful their futures because of the fact they are no longer wealthy. the single democratic congressman it is lobbying for this alteration says that a draft may be the thank you to discourage politicians from launching wars. "there isn't any question in my suggestions that this president and this administration will possibly never have invaded Iraq, exceedingly on the flimsy data that grow to be presented to the Congress, if certainly we had a draft and members of Congress and the administration theory that their infants from their communities may be located in harm's way," Rangel pronounced. i'm no longer agreeing with what rangel has to declare, yet i do no longer think of you're information the message.

First off, if you get your inspiration from "Big Boy" resturant thats probally your first mistake. I support the war and those whop serve but i also support the idea of not wanting to serve. People have the own priorites adn are subject to critisim when the publically display thier opinon. Republicans run this county better than any other political party. Get over your selk

So only Democrats fight in Iraq? You'r very ignorant. It was funny 3 years ago when everyone supported the war. Now the left thinks we should cut and run. (A huge mistake)

Everyone better pray we do not leave Iraq a mess. If we do the consequences will be great for our country.

And one last note......Who would say 'I support the war as long as my kid does not have to fight'? I think you made that up. Go get Cindy Sheehan and the two of you move overseas where you belong. America no longer wants people like you here. All you do is stir up trouble. You call yourselves patriots when all you do is try to rip America apart. You make me sick.

Sounds like yet another made up lib story. Delusions of grandeur and power for confronting a more 'well to do person' and spouting off their agenda, when we know they don't do such things.

I'm a moderate Republican. I HAVE SERVED, and I would be proud if my kids would eventually serve when they hit the right age. Most people who are right in the head (whether they be Reps or Dems) should be proud if their children eventually serve in the US Armed Forces.

Also... after looking at a bunch of this person's questions, you can see a repeating pattern in this slander against veterans. I reported as many as possible that were blatant attacks. I suggest others do the same.

You are a jerk!
I am a Republican & my son is a LT & member of the US Army Rangers. He does his part & then some. I supported him supporting freedom. I & my son have literally hundreds of Republican military friends. Over 80% of military have voted Republican in the last 5 presidental elections. Some must be Republicans. The answer to Bush's family is 1st his Dad was a pilot & his daughters are women - there is a low number of women in military & joining is "voluntary". I do not need to define voluntary.

Touch my "Support the troops" sticker & I will call the police. It is called stealing - making you a self proclaimed thief.

NOBODY "sends" there children to fight, there children are adults and join by themselves, if you join the military you automatically have to expect that you could be in a war and that there is a good chance you could die, everybody makes there own choices when your really get down to it, so stop blaming the government!
and the republicans are the only ones that give the military a decent raise, our military was at its weakest when clinton was president

I joined up and my father is a Republican! I won't say my party because it violates my beliefs; however, I fight not for my political views, but for all of us to have the right to have them!

Perhaps instead of stealing (yes, stealing) bumper stickers, you would like to join us on the front lines. Actually, perhaps you should stay at your Big Boy restaurant and just talk and talk as though you are better than we are because you think that we are too stupid to fight for your rights to complain!

I think you should rephrase your question to :: ARE THE ELITIST
AMERICANS SENDING THEIR CHILDREN TO WAR?? most wars are fought by the people that benefit the least from them. its a social class thing not so much a political party thing. it justs seems that the republicans are more guilty of it right now, because they seem to worry more about the rich and corporations that are making boo koo money off of this war!! when all is said and done this war will cause a wave of anti-military sentiment that will last for generations. no one in their right mind wants to send their kids off to war to die for a lost cause, which is exactly what has been happening and will continue to happen in Iraq until bush is out of office in 09!!!

Can't say if the person is Republican; Democrat or Catholic;but WOULD you want to send YOUR son or daughter off to fight in any war??? Before you throw the rocks at others check your own glass house!!! My baby boy was in the military but he's no longer with us - I personally know what it is to lose one of your own and so do his brothers and sister- who do you have "over there" ??
