It will leave lots of paper fluff and you'll need to clean it all over again. Do it right the first time, get the right equipment and get down to work

Paper towel will NOT leave paper fluff--just continue cleaning the entire screen, and pick it up only when you're finished.

A damp (with water) good quality papertowel is the best thing you can use to clean your TV screen. Just wipe it down and then dry with another. Make sure you use a good quality papertowel to avoid scratching!

You are better off using a soft cloth!!
Paper towels are a wood product and may scratch the surface over time.
