I'm not sure where exactly you could go.... but HGTV has a show called Small places, Big Style. You could go there and look at past episodes to get some ideas?

go to a local bookstore and look in the design section and there are TONS of books where you can get ideas and CB2 is a store that is great for small apartments and very reasonable prices. Also try ikea!
