Honestly, I don't really know. I'd like to THINK I would, but who knows if any of us would wimp out were we actually faced with the situation?

I would take a bullet for my son, mother, or little brother in a heart beat..My brother has already been shot..He does not have good luck anyways..My mother...well she has always been there for me..My son is my world..If I had to take the bullet for just one and not the other ones..I would have to try to kill the person with the gun..

If it assured my family's safety, escape from harm and if it is the last only resort that would result for them, then yes...absolutely. Now if we happened to be outside somewhere and bullets started to ring out of nowhere unexpectedly, then I'll become my daughter's kevlar vest instantly, without any hesitation.

Sure I would. When there are strange noises in the night, I am the one who gets up and checks it out. If it sounds like someone has broken in, I go to see what has happened and carry my loaded gun with me. If gunfire is going to kill anyone in my family in my house, it will likely be me first--but I'm a good shot and will likely give better than I take.

I have fours sons between the ages of 20 and 9. I have given this some thought. And, yes, I would stand between the gun and the child.
(Of course, none of us really know what we're going to do until it really happens.)

For my future wife, I'd take a million bullets for her, I love her dearly. For my parents and siblings, no, I would not. Why? They've never respected me and I was always the ignored and abused one. They can burn in hell.
