The US alone could supple the world for the next 120 years with oil at about $4.50 a gal (not counting tax) if the Liberals in this country would let us get to it!
This is a current demand, or supply the US alone for about the next 300 years at the current demand! Pump price would be about $5.50-6.00 gal.

No, humans will innovate and find other sources of power, or find ways of converting renewable resources into oil. It's all a question of how much it will cost.
