I'm just a happy agnostic minding my own business people they email me they say i see your searching and i just want to tell you you need zeus or you go to hades.

Any evidence of zeus being a real god or a real person? Or hades being real?

Outside of the illiad and odessy i mean, any real empirical evidence?

(this might only be funny to the people who read my questions everyone else, yeah sorry)

Ignore those Zeus followers... they don't know what they are talking about. Homer was drunk when he put all that stuff down. Come to a real religion... We'll go out in the woods and dance naked under the Moon Goddess ^_^

Honestly, Excellent Point!!!!!!!!!

How can you ask if there's any evidence for Zeus? Haven't you ever seen lightning? Heard thunder? That's him. Or at least no-one ever proved that it wasn't.

Why is it always Zeus and his followers who get attacked here? I don't push Zeus, but I'm called to make sure that people hear the good word, that only those who believe in Zeus are going to go to heaven.

How can you NOT believe in Zeus? The evidence is right there. Plenty of stories on him. Get a book of Mythology and you will see his name mentioned over and over. Don't listen to those who call it mythology though. Oh and even Disney believes just watch that Hercules cartoons they do. Watch the Hercules show. There is soo much evidence.
(yeah I see the humor so thought I would play along)

Hello! OVID!! I mean, if you want to be obstinate and deny the truth of the Iliad and the Odyssey even after they were PROVEN to be true when Schleimann used them to find Troy, you can always look to Ovid. But, really... of course Homer was speaking the words of the Gods. I mean, Troy was RIGHT WHERE HE SAID, so obviously everything else he said is true too. Duh.

You, my friend, are headed straight for hades on the end of a Zeus-flung thunderbolt!

Oh c'mon you mean you didn't get hit by the hurling lightening bolt?

The only 'evidence' available is a few books, a few temples in almost total ruin and a statue or two in a museums so that makes it totally subjective to whether he is real or not.

HEY!
Don't mock the Illiad and the Odyssey!

They reference cities and wars that historians KNOW existed.
Therefore that constitutes proof that Zeus exists.

proof, man. proof!

Well, at least you know the name of Jesus comes from the god Zeus, and hades is hell.
