I just met a guy. He is really nice. Trouble is, I been single for 7 years. We have seen each other a few times, it's been really nice, he is a gentleman, but I don't know when to take it to the next step. He seems happy to just go with the flow. I am afraid I may spoil it if I try to speed up the pace. He got divorced in Feb. Should I let him take the lead?

Yes let him take the lead. He hasn't even been divorced for a year! He shouldn't jump into a relationship right away. If he does then you'll be the "re-bound" girl... who wants to be that? Let if you guys go slowly and simply be friends for now... later when he's ready you can jump into a more romantic relationship.

I know exactly what you are going thru....I'm there myself. The guy I'm seeing hasn't been single for 10 years and I'm the first person he's seeing. We've really hit it off and I am nervous that he may think that he's not sampled enough with just coming out of his marriage. He's assured me that this is something that he wants and I've realised that the only thing that I can do is go with the flow. I too would like to speed up the pace and become more settled since it's what I'm ready for but I know that he isn't; so it wouldn't do to force it at my pace, so I've decide, for even as hard as it is, to go at his pace. Good luck to us both!

Just go with the flow, or if you really want to speed things up just tell him how you feel without being demanding

Let him take the lead. You could tell him that you really like him though - so long as it doesn't put any pressure on him.

You may want to take the lead, just to see how fast he follows.

Just be yourself and go with your gut instinct. If you feel like you're going too fast, then slow it down a notch.
