Try to find some fresh veggies. Drink water. Bring along a bag of almonds. They are very good for you and will help with the hunger pains.
but remember to give yourself a small treat. Share something with the people you are going with. that way you won't feel depressed cause you went to the fair and didn't get to eat anything fun! A small piece of funnel cake or elephant ear is not going to make you gain weight over night. Remember this is a lifestyle not a race. You can eat small amounts of "fun food" once in awhile and it won't kill your diet.
Have a good time!

Your best bet in all honesty is to carry some fruit along with you in your purse. IF you feel the urge to eat something snack on the fruit you brought. You have made it this far, be proud of yourself for not subcombing to the temptations of the sweets and junk food they offer. If you feel as though you are going to give in, just pause and take a look at the people working at the fair--That food is their primary source of meals and they look and probably feel horrible. You can do it!
The only exception is if they have grilled corn on the cob, that wouldnt be so bad.

Anything that tastes really good probably isn't "healthy". And EVERYTHING at the fair tastes really good. If you are really worried about this, try packing a sack lunch. If you don't want to do that, bring a few powerbars or granola bars and drink some water. But seriously, I reccommend getting the hand dipped corn dogs, seasoned curly fries, philly cheese steaks and Ice cold beer. What is a state fair without food and drink!?!?!?

Pretty much everything at the fair is going to be bad for you. That's kind of the whole point I think. I would stick with moderation and a grilled chicken breast sandwich.

my suggestion is befor you go to the fair drink lots and lots of water and make sure you have access to plenty of more water. that way you will fill up on water and you won't eat as much so you can have anything you want "just in little amounts"

Grilled corn on the cob and a diet soda. That's about it.

Nothing. It's mostly fried and sugar and junk. Bring something with you or stay away if you can't control yourself.
