I'm thinking about tyring the south beach diet, and I was wondering exactly how much exercise does the diet require?

Require it? No. I've been on the South Beach diet for 3 weeks and have lost 7 pounds. I don't "purposefully" exercise, but I am am an active person. Of course, it's ALWAYS good to exercise, and you will get better results if you do.

Doing exercises(even light exercises like walking a little) enchances the results of any diet immensely.
How much exercise do you need? It all depends an a)how much weight you want to loose b)your actual activity level c)how much exercise are you willing to do.

It does not REQUIRE it, but with every diet you will get better results if you exercise as well.

they best way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you consume.
so eat the south beach food, and then work off what you ate in calories, plus a little extra.
