Here's my theory. Agnostics like Denny's. As the world is now, you can sneak into Denny's while people are in church on Sunday mornings, and avoid the rush. If more people were agnostic, they wouldn't go to church, thus Denny's would be more crowded. So it only makes sense that you wouldn't want to convert people =)

I disagree. Agnostics made not say "The only way is......" but the ones who have answered you and and even yourself just by stating who you are is some form of advertisement for others to find out what ur beliefs are and how you feel towards other on this site. Some agnostics on here try to force feed others with their beliefs on Evolution which to me is separate from religion but also is useless in a religious setting. I have some respect for them because at least they are searching and some are not aggressive and obsessed with religion but just want answers. God bless the agnostics!

Here's why that is.. all religions believe in a God in some form or another, and all those Gods mandate that you must believe in them and follow their rules or you're going to have everlasting damnation in a pit of fire... That's religion.. Agnostics can't really say anything about it.. because they don't know. They believe there's a higher power of some sort.. but other than that.. there's really nothing else to say about it. You just don't know.. otherwise you'd be a specific religion of some sort..
Take the Crazy Christians for example.. lol.. we (I'm christian, but I'm not one of the pushy, preachy ones) believe that you must believe in God and Jesus.. and if you don't follow the rules you're going to hell, since we know what happens if you don't believe and follow.. we want everyone else to believe and follow because we don't want you to go to hell. Plain and Simple.

Hmmm, I have to disagree with you.
I've seen a lot of agnostics and atheist posts that try to pick apart "why do christians always..." and get us to admit somehow change our mind about the Bible or Christianity. So to me, that is trying to get christians to convert to atheism/agnosticism, because if you lack a faith in Christ Jesus or doubt God exists and don't accept another organized religion, that is switching over to either agnosticism or atheism.

Because, unlike you, they often are hesitant to label themselves, or are ignorant of the term "agnostic" and how it would accurately describe themselves. But, truly most intelligent people who question the existance of a higher power, but acknowledge the possibility of it, are by definition agnostic, even if they don't want to claim that they are. Like me too, I guess.

How we experience and what we want have been genuine is one element. Human aspirations and desires exceedingly lots run alongside the comparable rails no count if we've self belief in supernatural factors of existence of no longer. the certainty that i'm specific the Bible isn't the be responsive to God, or that i've got seen no definitive data from which we are able to end there's a God as humanity has so far conceived one would not propose that the thought of a benevolent divine parent looking out for me and listening to my issues and joys isn't eye-catching. the certainty that we've no data that our character persists previous suggestions demise would not propose the thought of immortality and soul holiday have no interest. i've got spent countless my existence attempting to discover genuine supernatural issues happening. Carl Sagan, additionally a non-believer, sumed it up for me while he grow to be asked by utilising Charlie Rose if after Sagan's first bout with maximum cancers he had replaced his suggestions a pair of God and an afterlife, he pronounced, "i might decide for to have self belief there is something, and that by some ability we proceed, yet i haven't seen any data of it." i think of we won't in any respect agree at this manner of God we'd decide for if there grow to be one, yet i think of lots of people who would not decide for a God that intervened interior the physcial international in any way, might nevertheless decide for to have an all-understanding and benevolent superbeing to earnings from and have interaction with. i do no longer think of every physique hopes that humanity is the only or optimal intelligence interior the Cosmos. i comprehend i do no longer.

Agnostics admit that they don't have all the answers so they leave it up to self-realization. They know that each person reaches their level of belief differently and uniquely so there is no set pattern to follow. They are very open-minded.

Actually the vast majority of faiths are not Missionary. The two Biggest faiths (Christianity and Islam) are. Since 3.5 Billion people belong to these two missionary faiths you get a lot of preaching on here. Also there are many Atheists who also preach.

Because agnostics are a tolerant people. All they desire is to be able to worship in peace. Buddhists are the same way. Others, however, believe that they must convert people to their religion in order to save them.

Perhaps because agnostics, unlike christians, don't believe that you'll burn in hell for all eternity if you don't agree with them. And perhaps maybe it's harder to be as excited about agnosticism. It doesn't have the same certainty as christianity, islam, pastafarianism or even atheism.
