I just got my new Visa credit card in the mail...and I'm wondering if I have to sign the back of it or anything since in part of my mail it says "sign the back of credit card to verify" but where?

NEVER, NEVER sign a credit card. on the white strip on the back write "CHECK DRIVERS LICENSE ", ( or some other form of photo ID ).This is one way to help prevent unauthorized users and identity theft. Also use the card wisely and try to pay the entire balance each month. (cksq)

Usually on the white strip, but to be honest I never put my signature on the credit card. Instead I put " please ask for picture I.D" That way they have to verify that you are indeed the owner of the card, much too much I.D theft going on lately.

There is a white rectangle on the back, that is where you sign it. Keep your signature inside the rectangle.
