is it good to dye your hair while you are on your period?

It does not make a difference to you hair, since the hair that you are dyeing is protein and contains no living cells.
However, some people have heightened senses during their period, therefore you may be more prone to getting an itchy scalp or getting nauseous from the smell of the hair dye.

I don't know if there is any scientific proof about it... but I heard that it is best to dye your hair just after your period stops... But I have not tried... so I cannot be sure.

It is fine. The only time you need to be concerned is when you are pregnant.
