i just got the top of my ear pierced....don't worry i have my ears pierced 11 times so its not the first but i was just wondering how can i sterilise an earring...something about boiling water...

Yes put in boiling water..you can also get special sprays etc from the Chemist or places where they pierce earings.

boiling water is good for sterilisation also try butting some salt in the water it may also help. it tryed it when i peirced my ear. also try a bit of detol after to stop it getting infected.

you CAN NOT sterilize anything with boiling water...sure it'll kill some germs but it's not sterile. You'd need an autoclave for PROPER sterilization or at the least something like madacide. If it's your jewelry and nobody else has worn it then just wash it in soap and water and you'll be fine

Boil some water and add a tablespoon of salt into a cup full of it. Stir till it dissolves and let it cool. Apply it with a Q-Tip. Cover it when not in use.

I have my ears pierced 10 time total and I always sterilze earrings by using rubbing alcohol and/or peroxide. Just clean the entire earring with it.

i think if u use boiling water in cup or bowl then put your earring IN to it the water kills any germs and gets rid of any dirt
