I agree with you heinlein it is possible it can be inviting. If you dont mind me asking, what would be your first choices?

Thank you legendary*cool, I've thought for aa long time that the idea that modern has to be cold and uninviting does not have to apply.
it could just depend on how you look at it

There is no reason high tech can't be warm and inviting. Personally I wouldn't pick grey and orange as my first choices.

For the most part, yes it would still be uninviting. High tech minimal is not an inviting style, no matter what the color.

inviting to whom? Strangers on the street? Friends don't (or shouldn't) care about the warmth of the color schemes. And if the occupants aren't warm and inviting, changing the color scheme isn't going to do much.

Interesting idea..and I do think it can be inviting and anyone with eyes will be able to feel it..=)...I can picture a bold color with a soft one..and a neutral one to balance it..like..cherry red, pale pink and grey to balance..or black & white with bold red, blue or yellow..(hey it works for Mickey Mouse)..Or...bold purple with lavender & grey..any can be made to look more manly or feminine or neutral for that matter..good luck!
