The lidocane gel and spray and also warm shower will sting like hell but take the edge off the burn.

I have the tannic acid in tea works great too..Regular tea, like liptons, salada, that sort...
Also aloe vera gel, especially if you can get it with benzocane. It also moisturizes the dryness. I have had bad burns and just kept applying it as the pain returns.
I've heard vinnegar works too, but don't know this one for sure.

Aloe Vera is the best thing for sunburn, if you have not got an aloe plant, use a cream that has aloe vera in it. Good luck

Aside from the tea that the first poster suggests (good suggestion!), you can also do that with organic apple cider vinegar. It won't smell as good, but it will take the burn away and provide relief from the pain.

Seriously, make yourself a huge vat of tea, cool it down with ice of course, soak a towel in it and then put the towel on you. The tanic acid in the tea is what does it.

Aloe vera! There are stores that sell this green transparent liquid and it says aloe vera (I forgot the actual product name) and it will cool your skin!
