who feels that the entertainment industry is trying to mock and attack christian with all the shows on murder, satanistic acts, immorality, foul language, pornagraphic actions and beastiality? tv isn't safe for our kids to watch anymore. yet we get attacked for fighting for our kids on having safe entertainment . whats wrong with safty and teaching proper morals. clean language, sex only after marriage. whats wrong with living right in the eyes of god. sin gets hundreds of things(channels and films) where god so few. its not right and as many people want to complain that we attack them, its also not fair. we deserve equal in the entertainment industry.

People are getting angry because I said our right. We have a right to safety. We just view it differently.

Elliot-when you hear that people use the TV as a babysitter and they watch those types of programs and the parents don’t teach them right from wrong, who’s at fault(both)

Phoenix- you talk money and entertainment industry (Timothy 6:10. 'For the love of money is the root of all evil.) My effort, getting awareness, which is what this site can be used for.
ghosttrainxxx- Christians deserve as none-Christians do= the right to equal proper entertainment.

Phoenix- we are not saying the TV is all about us Christians. We just want safe television.

If I did have millions of dollars I would use it for the right reasons. One being in my heart to have more proper TV channels like TBN and Daystar. What’s wrong with safe entertainment? Shows WITHOUT fornication, idolatry, sorcery, jealousy, wrath, adultery, murder, steeling, degrading women, or being a bully.

Exactly. Its is so hard to find good programming on tv. I hardly watch it anymore. The world is in trouble, but that's where we come in. We need to help kids, before the world does. That's why I help out with the 6th-12th graders at my Church. It is imperative that we teach our kids good morals. 2nd Cor teaches if you train up a child in the ways of God, he may get away from God, but he will come back. I did strayed for a long time, but I;m back with a vengeance to help people. I run a Bible study on Friday nights, and i think we've helped many people. I'm not telling you this to brag, just to give an example for fellow Christian's. Christians need to find the best way to help their neighbor, and show that God really cares for them... I've been called to help through my Church. But anything will help. Soup kithchens, battered shelters, anything that you can help with your time, to show people you through God love them.
First, turn off the tv. I have to admit, its hard sometimes, i really like CSI. But studying the Bible is a way better way to spend time, though. Pray, and ask God where you can help, He'll tell you.
God Bless You, and let's change let Hollywood know your not happy, by not watching their filth.

Kids don't have to live right "in the eyes of god". How dare you suggest that children who aren't old enough to watch television shows about murder are mature enough to choose and follow a religion? Christians do not "deserve equal" in the entertainment industry, because the entertainment industry is a business, not a church. The reality is, if it were more profitable to devote more channels to Christianity then they would, the fact they don't just means that that's not what people want. The organisations that make up the entertainment industry are interested in profit, not spreading satan's message.

The entertainment industry doesn't give half a sh*t about Christianity. They care about money. They create programming people want to watch. People, including many Christians, want to watch all that crap.

You have a choice whether to watch TV or not. I suggest you exercise it. Or invest in more Christian programming. If you have millions of dollars to create a "safe" programming channel, then you are welcome to it. If you don't, you'll have to let the people who do exercise their free speech.

You do have just as much right to your own type of programming. You just have to put forth a little more than words to make it happen like all the entrepreneurs who have been successful in television.

Damn, now you people think TV is all about you, too?

If you don't like what the entertainment companies are putting out, get off your butt and start companies that do make what you want. How do you think Veggitales (sp) were started?

The only problem with such a company is that there is extermely low demand for this stuff in the USA so you're going to have a hard time staying afloat long enough to get brand recognition. Once you're there though, you're pretty well set.

what might be right for you may not be right for everyone.stick to your own beliefs,"in the grace of god go you" but you must respect others and thier values. btw you do not "deserve" anything from the entertainment industry, what have you ever done for them?! peace and happiness.
