it was me, the first time we had sex. it was about 6 weeks since when we started going out together. my boyfriend does not say it much, but i knew that he was developing feelings for me and still has. he shows me often enough that he loves me though he does not say it as much as I would love him to!

We were by the beach at night, in his car, cuddling and we ended having the best experience ever. It was so good, that I had to tell him how I feel. I knew that i was falling in love with him, but sex made me feel so good that right there and then I knew that I loved him so, and I told him.

He said that I should not tell him so just because I was having fun, and that he would love to say the same to me but he was still unsure what love is! It was so sweet of him to be true that I started crying. I knew at that time from a friend of his that his ex had made him go through hell and I understood that it was going to take longer for him to trust me and love me after he has been with her.

My bf said "I love you" first. It was about a month after we first got together, and it was the day I first met his mom. I didn't say anything at first but kiss him.. I knew I cared about him a lot, and didn't want to say it back unless I knew I did love him in return. I said I love you while we together during one of the major hurricanes last year (katrina). We were both drinking and I was like "babe, I love you so much" I was so drunk, and couldn't even talk right... LOL

He said them first, but has yet to say them again, I reacted with sheer joy, and then when I made sure he knew I loved him before he left for Iraq but he acted like it didn't matter. I guess I'll see how it is when he comes back.

Well ever since i met my boyfriend i would always say "much love" but we were just friend then. But now we have been dating for 3 months and i still kept saying, "much love" and a couple weeks after dating him he said "i love you". he was technically the first one to say it, but then 2 seconds after i said it back.

That statement has been talked about a lot between my bf and I. He has told me a couple different times that he has thought about stating it to me and that he has chickened out. Then I sit there at night whiile he is holding me thinking to say it than I chicken out. (nice right?) I would love to know how to get over that hump and one of us say it. I think with both of us being hurt previously we are both terrified to say it to each other because of what could happen.
