***Isn't Islam a farse when women are stoned to death for adultery and the men are just told to pray a bit more? ***

Yes, what Jesus wrote on the ground was
" Where is the man ? "
Jesus understood that if the crowd were to stone the woman only, they themselves would be guilty of sin. Realizing their error the crowd
dropped their stones and left.

Commandment # 6.
" You shall not commit adultery."

Leviticus 20:10
If a man commits adultery with another man's wife—with the wife of his neighbor—both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death.

Hooray for Jesus.

Islam does not according to the Qu'ran, allow stoning of an adulterer or adulteress. The one instance where the prophet did was to a Jewess who admitted to adultery after being cautioned to not bear witness against herself and choosing to be judged by jewish law not muslim law.

Those muslims whom have stoned adulterers have done so based on a misinterpretaion, regional or tribal law that has nothing to do with Qu'ran.

The penalty for adultery is whipping (80 stripes) not stoning according to the Qu'ran. Chap 24 (Al-Nur) verses 2-8

Muslims stone FORNICATORS and ADULTERERS, both men and women. It doesn't matter what their gender is. Your propaganda won't work on the educated, the knowledgeable. Why don't you leave the internet and start preaching hate to your village of pheasants.

thats extremely false information..

both man and woman get the same punishment..

if unmarried, he/she will receive a punishment of 80 whips and would have to repent and ask God for forgiveness. (Both genders).

If married and commits adultery (hence cheating on wife/husband), he/she is stoned to death. (Both genders).

All religions are a farce, and most of them are chauvinistic because they come from highly patriarchical societies. Christianity is just as chauvinistic, racist, and cruel as Islam. It's just that it has had to adjust itself to a society that hasn't been as controlled by the religious leaders.

It is none of our business. They will amend their religious laws when they choose to do so. In the meantime take care of your own morality.
