This guy is good in academics, we laugh a lot, we have a lot in common
Well, he DID try confessing his love for someone yet he rejected her the same day he asked her because of the girl's first attempt to ask him to court her.
Now I can't understand why I like him and everybody just thinks he speaks like he came from nowhere(He uses intellectual reasoning when he talks. They just can't see it that way....they're mean)

I guess he does not like things that he gets easily.
Maybe there is no challenge in it.
Maybe u are also of the same category, nothing wrong in that.
Just shows that u too look out for challenging things in life.
Maybe that is what must have made u like him after realising that part of him.... I guess...
If u agree with me then try to get to know him better and dont confess anything until u know he is for u.
Cause u wont want him to reject u like he rejected that person.
Let it be the case where u reject him if he doesn't fit your style.

Hang out with him and see what develops. Be honest with him about your feelings for him too. Don't try to reason it out, there's no reason to love.
