Perhaps you feel that as being the older sister you should be more established. Really it's common for siblings to get a little jealous of one another. But really it's most and likely about two different styles of your homes.
Victorian homes are nice but imagine the work of cleaning it all the time. You have a nice cozy place, warm and loving. Every part of your home is probably the perfect fit.
Maybe you just need a little change done. A room painted, a little remodeling or even just buying a few things to decorate will make you feel better and proud of your own work.

Sounds like you wish you had some of the things that she does, that's normal as long as it's not something that you dwell on. You can turn the emotion that comes from that into energy you can use to improve your life.
Chances are your life is how it is from choices that you have made and let's face it, having kids is more expensive than not - but would you give him up for a bigger home? (I'm betting your answer is no.)
If jealousy occasionally rears it's head, do a little something nice for yourself - just don't let the jealousy get hold of you and hurt your relationship with your sister, those kinds of rifts are hard to repair.

It's just the nature of the beast! The grass always look greener on the other side. We all want what we don't have. We all think that we are measured by the things we own, and we all feel we are important and deserving of these things. Just don't sit around and think too much about the things your sister owns, these are material things that Nature or Fire can destroy in the blink of an eye.....and what's left is just the nature of your sister!

Simple sibling rivalry. We all deal with it. My sister doesn't have all those things and I am still a little jealous of her. My life is going great and she has 2 bad kids to deal with everyday. Yet I find myself wanting to trade places with her sometimes. It is just part of nature I guess. My sister is 5 years older than me. We didn't grow up together, so I always feel like she had it better. I think that may be my issue not yours. lol

Jealousy is natural. You need to find something that makes you happy and give you that feeling of satisfation that you're not getting at this time in life. They say take baby steps at fist. Do one thing a day that makes you feel good. Like do something for someone, Volunteer a couple of hours. Just one thing a day for someone that you would normally not do. This will start to build you up again

First of all, being happy is the most important thing. If you and your family are happy, healthy, and do not live in poverty...what else is there. Try to be happy for you sister, and what she has, which is probably a very big mortgage! In the end you may have more than she does. God Bless.

I've felt similarly with my own sister. You have to look at it this way: things aren't always what they seem. She may have the nicer house, but that doesn't mean she's better off. A lot of people get themselves in trouble - my sister included - and get in over their heads with things like houses and cars and can barely afford them. So while I love my sister's house and am jealous of her for it, I know that I'm doing myself a favor by not running out and trying to 'one up' her. I want something that I can afford easily and not have to worry about how I'm going to pay my bills like she does.

I have had the same emotion with a sister in law, then I realized that I wasn't really jealous. there were 2 other reasons for this. One, it wasn't really that she had more or better things, it was really that I wasn't doing things that made MY life happy, so I was really unsatisfied with myself not jealous of her, and with another sister in-law its the same thing when it comes to what am I doing that I enjoy really? but with her she also brags so much that she irritates me with her self centeredness so when I'm not doing my happy things enough, she gets on my nerves more, but it isn't jealousy. I hope I helped a little. Good luck.

there will always be people with more money Try not to worry about it. All of us would enjoy being rich but most people arent. Try to get away once in awhile with bf. After 18 mos he should commit to you and you may have blessings from that.
