Go to a area drug store and ask for cola syrup, it has a very nigh sugar content so it's not for diabetics, but it is a known for calming upset stomachs. If you can use it, drop an alcazelter in to the amount of water the package says to use, add immeditlly add 1 table spoon of the cola to the water, when it stops fizzing sip it over a few minute period. Then wait 5 minutes you'll feel like new.

Of course the correct remedy depends on what causing the Nausea.
In general eating and drinking nothing except "Ginger Ale" and "Saltine Crackers" for couple of days will take care of it quickly.

Nausea is a symptom - find out what is causing the nausea and correct that and the nausea will relieve itself.
However, if you already know the cause, then the old standbys of mothers from my generation, were soda crackers and any white soda.

I am assuming you meant "subdue". I am one of those people that will do anything at all to keep from feeling nauseated. Drink some Sprite or 7Up and make sure it is ice cold, suck on peppermints or spearmints, brush your teeth, eat some crackers or if it is really bad, sit in a cold bath.
Good Luck

Coke syrup over ice works well. This is an old remedy, but I have used it several times. It is more pleasant than the promethazine suppositories !

It depends what is causing it. Pregnant with morning sickness? -- try dry crackers. Post-op nausea? -- ask anesthesiologist to give you anti-nausea medication during surgery thru IV Learned response to certain sights/smells? -- do behavioral therapy.
Chemotherapy? -- try marijuana.

Pepto Bismol is the only thing that works for me. One home remedy is ginger root, but I don't see how that is any easier than just taking pepto.
