The Bible prohibits the consumption of alcohol in the following verses:
"Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging; and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise."
[Proverbs 20:1]
"And be not drunk with wine."
[Ephesians 5:18]

As others have said, I believe it's only wrong when you're abusing it. I very much enjoy sitting with friends(Christian and non) and having a drink or two, especially on a lazy Sunday afternoon. In this day and age, I also think that God is more concerned with bringing people back into His fold than anything else; if drinking is something that's hindering you from doing His work, then yes it is a problem and you should pray about it :)

I believe that first of all, don't drink until you are 21. And second of all, if you have a glass of wine it's okay. Jesus did turn the water into wine in the Bible. But going out and getting completely drunk is wrong. That is abusing the alcohol and using it for different reasons. I still will never drink, it's just gross to me.

Christianity and alcohol have nothing to do with eachother. Being a Christian means to "profess a belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ." (see source) The choice of drinking alcohol or not is one that should be made on a personal level, regardless of ones faith.

If you believe in what the Bible says, then if drinking alcohol is wrong Jesus committed a sin by making it. And that is completely illogical. The Bible says don't drink too much, and it also says don't eat too much. So if not drinking at all would make you a "better" Christian, then wouldn't anorexics who don't drink be even better?

Only to excess. See Luke 21:34, Romans 13:13, Galatians 5:21 and 1 Peter 4:3.
Peace.

No. In fact wine is part of drink and it was given in the last supper. Wine contains alcohol. What is wrong is when Alcohol consumed in excess.

Jesus turned water into wine (john 2:9)
Jesus used wine as part of his teachings (Matt 9:17, Mark 2:22, Luke 5:37-38, Luke 10:34,)
Timothy talks of using too much wine (3:8, 5:23) and in Titus it also talks of overindulgence. (Titus 2:3)
Alcohol is not prohibited, but as in all things, overindulgence is prohibited.

Only if you drink to get drunk. The bible does not say you cannot drink it says do not get drunk.
You have to understand, back in Jesus time, everyone drank wine. It was like their version of soda. You either drank water, wine milk, etc.
If you drink to excess, and lose control and say or do things that are not right, you are sinning. That's why it is wise not to drink too much
