Sorry, I tried looking that word up; it has yet to be officially recognized and defined. Nearest is mail pouch or the pouch used in the shipment of mail.

It is possible, however, that you are actually seeking "piecemeal". If so, it means one thing at a time or bit by bit. Imagine eating dinner by feeding on one morsel the size of a pinhead every minute. That is what piecemeal at its worst is.

do you mean a piece of mail?

This is what i am getting from the post office (USPS). a mailpiece is a piece of mail. a simple mailing may consist of many mailpieces.
