Well, you shouldn't flush them...thats bad for the environment. Since they won't take them, recycle them! You can make all kinds of things from them. Tie the strings on coathangers and make colorful mobiles to hang over babies' cribs, you could sell them on ebay!! Check out the website below for more interesting ideas....I love the heart earrings!

You have a whole bin of used tampons? How big is the bin? Maybe it is too heavy for them.
Put them in a plastic bag and throw them in the garbage can.

LOL! I love the previous answers to this one and wish I could vote for everyone of them. But your question is gross, dear, because you should have ALL your trash in bags as a public safety measure and just plain cleanliness. These trash guys don't know if your "stuff" is safe to handle! because you bleed to much honey try tampax peral for an upgrade (medicated tampax peral stops PMSING) which im sure your husband would like so stop complaining and go get some and if you need them to pick up your tampons pay them some more ii got them to move all this wood that way
