Hi, have you tried pantene Ice Shine, its the only shine shampoo i used that really works, you have like a mirror shine to your hair, its that shiny you can see it in the windows when you walking passed, and you just catch a glimpse of something shining by so you look and its your hair. I stopped using it because it made my hair far to shiny, but if its shine you want then this is the product you want for it.

By using salon products, not dyeing it too often and not using heated appliances. Alternatively use Paul Mitchel The Shine Spray. It lasts for ages and all you need to do is spray it lightly over the top of your hair for instant shine.

Ooo, i know exactly how! When your hair is DRY and before walking into the shower, put a mask of conditioner ALL over your hair, and leave on for... 5 minutes (the longer the better) then go in the shower and do everything u usually do (shampoo, conditiioner etcetc)
This allows the hair to get rid of all the bad oils and bacteria in the hair, which dulls its shine.
I guarentee you this will give you beautiful and healthy hair

If you've dark hair use vinegar in your final rinse and for light use lemon. Also rinse in the coldest water you can stand (thats also good if it's hot, it delays your head sweating and your hair getting greasy).

If you use a hair dryer always point the nozzle downwards to smooth the foilicles.

There are loads of shine products you can use for after styling now as well.

Just apply oil on your Hair at sleep time. Place a wet towal on them for Half an Hour. At morning Wash them with a Shampo with conditionar. You have to do it every two day routine. After 10 to 15 washes you can check them. Drink Water alot. Use vitmin E tablets. They are the best solution for General Health and Damaged Hair.

Always do the final rinse in cold water and trim regularly cos split ends don't shine. For a quick fix, try serum - John Frieda's are good.

The best and natural way (this works for me) is to mash up 1/2 avocado and mix with 1/4 cup olive oil (preferably extra virgin). After shampoo and conditioning, apply to your hair. Cover with plastic cap and sit under a dryer or not for 30 mins. Rinse with cold water.

Get those hair serums that adds shine to your hair. The Body Shop has a glossing hair serum that is reasonably priced. Apply this on towel dried or dry clean hair.

1/2 of an avocado and 1/4 can of coconut milk. Mash the avocado then add the coconut milk. Mix well. Then come it in your hair from scalp to tip. Leave it in your hair for 30 minutes then wash your hair as you normally do.

It is not recommended to wash hair twice in succession, as often recommended by shampoo manufacturers. The first shampoo will wash your hair and the second will strip your hair of its nutrients. By repeating, you can irritate your scalp and overly dry your hair. However, a long rinsing with water is a good habit, even if you are in a hurry; else, the hair will be dull and more sensitive to external irritants (pollution, etc.)
Use cold water as a final rinse; it will make your hair shinier. The cold water closes the scales that the hair has on its surface, which open when washed with hot water. Moreover, if your scalp tends to be greasy, cold water prevents dilatation of sebaceous glands and moderate sebum production.
Use mild shampoos if you want to wash often (they create fewer bubbles but this doesn't mean that they don't wash well; excess suds are more aggressive). Do not use children's shampoos, which are not soft but less galling; they contain over-greasing agents that make the hair more loose.
Use anti-dandruff shampoos with care; they are more aggressive, can make hair less lively, irritate the scalp, and can actually increase the production of dandruff.
Dyeing of the hair can cause hair loss; although the products do not attack the root of the hair, they are aggressive to them and can harm the hair.
Brush carefully: strength of hair comes from the root; brushing will not give them more strength but can increase the creation of forks (split ends) and may uproot the hair. However, brushing may distribute the oils produced by the scalp throughout the hair, effectively acting as a natural conditioner and preventing oil buildup on the scalp. Be sure to use a brush with natural bristles, and never brush wet hair.
If you have forked hair (split ends), the only solution is to cut it and use a hydrating treatment to protect the new ends.
Playing sports: Physical exertion increases perspiration, helping the removal waste products from the skin that may accumulate near the roots of hair on the scalp. Be sure to rinse your hair thoroughly after exercise to completely remove them from your hair.
Brushing: the old notion that 100 brush strokes a day produces beautiful hair is false. Too much brushing may injure the hair, especially with brushes that pull the hair or scratch the scalp.
Hair sprays: Applied properly, most hair sprays will not harm the hair. Excessive use or failure to shampoo, however, can cause it to become dull.
Wigs: Normal wig wearing is not injurious to the hair provided the wig is not too tight, but more shampooing may become necessary because wigs incease scalp perspiration.
Permanents: Despite popular opinion, we have no medical evidence that permanents are ineffective during pregnancy. Women using hair dryers, however, should apply low heat to keep from splitting or otherwise damaging hair.
Cutting: Although trimming may beautify hair by removing damaged or split ends, cutting does not promote faster growth. Hair grows at the same rate regardless and the rate is largely a matter of heredity.
Braiding: Tight or frequent braiding may pull at the hair roots and cause damage. Hair should not be left braided overnight, and rubber bands or tight clips should be avoided.
