Classified Ad in the paper. Make up a flyer and hang in community areas (with permission of course). Grocery store, car wash, community mailbox/clubhouse, local apartment complex mailboxes.

If you have an eBay account and are able to safely package it for shipping, give that a try. There are some services out there that will sell and ship your item on eBay for you for a "small fee".

If you want to do a local transaction for cash, Craigslist is very popular. Take good pictures!

If it is in good condition, you should have no problems selling your Sony TV because you have the best brand name in the business for the television and resale value should be about as good as it gets for selling a used TV.

I don't know how much you know about drums, or how much you plan on spending on a new drum set, but I've seen a good entry-level set for quite an economical price on uBid.com.

I hope it works out for you the way you want!

ebay.com is the best because they have the most users, so you can sell it for the most expensive price, and the quickest, or just post it onto all three websites
