the reason for a age gap between a boy and a girl who are a couple is for a reason which (i assume) is that during teens, girls mature faster than guys. also, being older in age, a guy expects respect from his counterpart. but these are just notions, and absolutely baseless. so you should go just right ahead and do what you feel like. age doesn't matter when it has to do with matters of the heart.

i think it goes the same way,as an older guy dating an younger girl.i mean if the older guy can,why can't the older gals,,date the younger guys?besides age is in the looks and youth not in numbers,numbers wont prevent u from age in a precoce way,moreover,if someone is older then u, in numbers however look younger or as young as u look,the,age difference will be as long where date of birth is concerned and noone Will really find out unless u tell them

Depends. If the guy is 18, and the girl, 21, and beautiful, nobody will be aware of the age diff. But if guy is say, 26, and the 'girl' say, 48, then, that is something else.
I've a friend whose mom was 16 years his dad's senior, and he claimed both of them was very loving till the end (His mom died of cancer at age 70 4 months back0

Was in a relationship where the guy was 4 years younger than me. it was great,he literally worshipped the ground i walked on till he had to leave for a job overseas, in actual fact he's the best boyfriend i've ever had and we still keep in touch. age is a state of mind. if you both care about each other, who cares?
who came up with that stupid rule that a guy should be older than the girl in order to be together, a bit sexist ain't it?

Doesn't matter about age. I just written a book about this. How to find the person of your dreams and be romantic at the same time! It tells you how to be romantic and how to prepare yourself for the right one. Its perfectly normal to date people older than you. People think that age matters but If you read my book its all about maturity of the guy and the girl.

Sometimes a guy needs to go out with a more mature girl. I dated somebody younger than myself and it was awesome! I learnt a lot from him and he absolutely worshipped me. I really don't see why it can't work.

it's great... i have a bf who's 9 years younger than me and we're doing great we've been together for quite some time and planning to get married. we don't think about our age gap, we think alike seems we're on the same age. i believe if two people truly love each other, age distance doesn't matter.
