I'm so sorry to hear you'er having a rough time. :( Talk with your parents, your doctor, or another adult that you trust. I would then recommend that you find a good therapist in your area. Having space that's just for you (therapy) might be helpful and would allow you the time and space to discharge some of the anxiety you are holding. You shouldn't have to feel this way.

Below is a link for a therapist search. Look for one that specializes in anxiety. Good luck to you. You deserve some support and a break. :)

Your symmptoms sound a lot like mine, but when I was first diagnosed I wouldn't even leave my house. I wouldn't drive either. I have cyclothymic disorder, which is a form of bi-polar.

I have weeks where I feel like I'm on top of the world, happy and have lots of energy, and then I'll have a week where I feel like the world is against me and I'm so sad and sooooo tired. My doc has had me taking xanax for over a year now, and it has made me a whole new person when it comes to my anxiety. I actually leave the house now, and I drive sometimes too. I was also taking paxil for over a year with the xanax, but I gained about 50 pounds, so doc just switched me to Cymbalta and this is my 2nd day on it so I can't tell you much about that one.

I'd go talk to your school counselor if ur in school, and they can help you figure out how to tell your parents. Also, if you have a form of bi-polar then you will have those ups and downs, so it's hard for people to understand how you feel.

Best of Luck}}}}}

I used to have similar feelings when I was young. It's hard to be a teenager. The world is a weird place and I never felt like I fit into it.

I think you may have a touch of social anxiety disorder, which is different than agoraphobia.

It will take time, work and having someone to talk to, to make it manageable.

If you really feel like you can't talk toyour parents. (although, I really think your parents would rather know how you feel, even if you are being happy and now want to tell them that you are not happy all the time).

Then I recommend trying a school counsellor or your family doctor. You really need to share your feelings with someone.

The more you talk about it, the more you face the problem and finally put it in its place.

Perhaps you should seek some professional help from a counsellor... they *can* help you with your anxiety, they may be able to assist you with your depression, you dont HAVE to feel that way...

Note: I'd prefer you to not mention the depressed thing to them unless asked, DO be honest, and even if asked do mention you have been on medication for it that didn't help.

What I said earlier might sound like a conflict, but if you get help with your anxiety, you may not be as depressed anymore... or other things might fall into place that will end your depression.

I know how you feel sweety I know it is so hard for you, I was a bit like that and now I am much better, but still I hate crowds and crowded places. Have a talk with your mother, she will not think you are lying, explain to her exactly what you are going through, your mom loves you dearly and she will want to help you believe me. You can get help but you need to ask for it, don't be afraid to ask. Please talk to your parents or at least your mom.

There are many different psychiatric disorders that could cause this kind of thing. You should really talk to your doctor or a psychologist about it, they would be able to diagnose if you have something and treat you for it properly. Talk to your parents, no parents want to see their child sad.

Our daughter has similar problems. and she is 16 Talk to you parents. We understand more than you think. We also do not judge you, Trust me they will be happy to help you and will be very understanding. If you feel that you can not talk to them go to your school councler or a close adult friend. Do not talk to your friends at school they will not understand and you may regret giving this info to them.
Hope it all goes well for you.

Read the post you just wrote and tell me if that person should be on medication. You should be under the care of a doctor. This will not get better by itself.
