Registry Mechanic may be the best tool for cleaning up the PC's registry, but there's a lot of *other* things to do when trying to optimize a system's performance - removing unused/unwanted software and defragmenting the disk being two real biggies that I don't think a program called "registry mechanic" will do for you.

I never try Registry Mechanic before.
I use easycleaner and it's quite good

Never tried it, but Download.com said it's a great program.
