my yahoo messenger did not work. i even couldn't uninstall it.please tell me what to do?

yahoo messenger download from internet. when i click on the ym icon, no response from the program.

Sure you having other troubles with your system not the yahoo messenger only. Fix other issues first. Maybe it is spyware/virus/etc.

goto start-control panel-addremove programs-yahoomesseger-change/remove and its done.
