He's disappointed? So get over it! Where would we be without the sweet agony of a broken relationship and then the knowledge that a new person could walk into our lives any minute? I am not married but i have had a few near mrs!

I think that it's sort of `human nature' to feel someone else's loss: and normally you don't go round causing this kind of thing deliberately. Most people start out with the best of intentions, and then sometimes things happen that bring about a change in your view of things. When that happens, you must make decisions based on your new view! That's really all it is! So, don't worry too much: everyone has a moment with starting over.

the best thing u eva did for the 2 of u was being up front wit him and telling him straight up that ur not interested. things could have been worse for the both of u if u had deceived him and yoself and pursued a relationship wit him.
u feeling guilty, is ok! it just shows that ur human. u'll soon get ova it once u realize that u did the best thing given the circumstances...its clear that ur not attracted to this guy. remember...honesty=integrity, and u'v maintained yours!!!
Good luck , hope the 2 of u remain friends atleast!

Girl you actually made a mature decision. You actually sat down and realized that you knew it would not work, and of course your going to feel guilty because you don't want to hurt his feelings. You actually care about people. You did the right thing!!

the way that I take that's to maintain in mind that folk are imperfect. we do not comprehend why they act the way that they do. I fall short because i'll't say that i recognize all, like i'm meant to. i extremely do not imagine i'm more effective constructive than all of us else. i ought to like my way of coping with issues more effective constructive and am satisfied i do not sin especially innovations that others do yet who's to assert i'm more effective constructive? notwithstanding, i do not hate them - I comprehend that purely God is widely used with their hearts and we are not pronounced as to guage. Love is a superb note yet there are different adjustments of that note. I do the great that i'll and that is all i'll do. i extremely haven't any enemies. except devil. and that i do not could love him :) i actually sense sorry for him yet believe he's gonna get what he advantages contained ultimately!

Of course its normal, especially if he keeps rubbing it back in your face....
just be honest with him and perhaps tell him a statement like
"I feel when you because " its better than coming across as blaming him for anything and it shows him your position clearly... hopefully he's "mature" enough to stop making you feel guilty.

Yes, it's very normal. It's hard to reject someone who says they love you, especially if we know how it feels.
However, I think you made the right decision. If you didn't love him back and it wasn't going to work, then it wasn't going to work and it was best to do what you did.

There is no guilt in telling someone how you feel. Guilt should come when you feel that way and don't tell him you just make he believe you care when you don't
