The Bible tells us that there is one faith, and one baptism and one God at Ephesians 4:5,6
"one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in all."To determine which is the one faith approved by God, we need to see if it adheres to these Scripural guidlines:
It must be organized and have no divisions; "Now I beseech you, brethren, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment." --1 Corinthians 1:10
They must love one another; "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."---John 13:35
They must regularly assemble with fellow believers; "and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works; not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as ye see the day drawing nigh."---Hebrews 10:24,25
They must be no part of the world (not involved in politics or in the materialistic values seen today)----"If ye were of the world, the world would love its own: but because ye are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you."---John 15:19
They will not only be hated, but persecuted for their faith----"Remember the word that I said unto you, A servant is not greater than his lord. If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they kept my word, they will keep yours also."---"Then shall they deliver you up unto tribulation, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all the nations for my name's sake." John 15:20 , Matthew 24:9
They will be preaching the good news of God's Kingdom to all people---"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come." Matthew 24:14
They believe the entire Bible is the word of God and apply it in every aspect of there lives.---"Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness." 2nd Timothy 3:16
If the religion you belong to does these things, then it is the right faith.

There is not any one or correct church or denomination today. God works through many Christian churches. But the field is narrowed down to those churches that use only the Bible as a basis for spiritual authority. In some of the churches mentioned in The first few chapters of the book of Revelation, there are some churches which were full of error and sinful practices yet Jesus said that some of those believers were faithful despite the general condition of the church. Being right with God on a personal level is the most important thing. Believers should belong to a Bible based church even though there is no perfect church this side of Heaven. When Jesus told His disciples that He had other sheep which belonged in His fold (John 10:16), He was meaning the Gentiles. This is clearly seen to be true because the New Testament several times states that Jesus came to His own first (the Jews) and that He died for the World (Jews and Gentiles). In the Book of Acts we see Peter taking the Gospel to the Gentiles (chapters 10 and 11 especially verse 11:18). this is summed up in Ephesians 2:11-16 and Eph 3:1-7. Keeping this context that is where Eph 4:4-6 states that there is one faith and one body which is the church made up of gentile and Jewish believers in Christ.
Most Bible translations will tell you the same general readings. there is only about 3% difference in most meanings of the translations and those differences are really minor grammatical differences which do not affect main doctrines from the Bible.
To my Adventist friends I would point out that the reason many churches observe Sunday as a time to hold services is because after Jesus's ressurection the New Testament church did so also (Act 20:7 and 1Cor 16:1-2). It is not because the Catholic Church changed that because the Catholic Church did not start till about another 150 years or so. Rom chapter 14 mentions that one person can observe one day while another can observe another. Jesus and the apostles mentioned to keep all of the 10 commandments except for keeping the Sabbath because under the New Testament it is not binding since Jesus rose on that day. Food laws are also not binding either but it is still wise to avoid the foods that were considered unclean.

The true church is the one who follows the guidance we all were given: the Bible.
Ellen G White's writings do not substitute the Bible. If the Seventh-day Adventist church would not have had Mrs. White's writings, the church would still have its 28 doctrines. None of the Seventh-day Adventist's doctrines is based on Ellen G. White, but on the Bible only. Ellen G. White's writings are very helpful to take us to the Bible. Anyone who has read her writings will not deny that they do not contradict the Bible, but support it. Everybody, not just Seventh-day Adventists, may get benefits by observing her teachings regarding spiritual, health, and educational matters.
God does have a church on this earth; He's always had one (Israel in the Old Testament, early christian church, and so on). There has always been a remnant through history. The Bible describes the true church, or why would God not give us some light about it? However, God has a lot of wonderful children in every denomination. They are honest people who have been faithful in what they've learned. Every true christian will seek to do God's will as it is expressed in the Bible. Every honest christian should wonder, "does my church really follows the teachings of the Bible?" Our responsability, then, is to ask the Holy Spirit to teach us more about the wonderful Bible teachings; and if our church is not based on the Scriptures, then we should ask Him to take us to that church who follows God's Word. Let's test every doctrine with the Bible.
You may read the following article about Bible clues to identify the true church, it's quite interesting! http://www.amazingfacts.org/items/Read_Media.asp?ID=677&x=22&y=32
May God bless everyone of you!

I am a memeber of the Seventh Day Adventist church.
HOWEVER, I do not believe it is right to say we are the TRUE church. We are not the only church that keeps the Sabbath, not are we the only one to understand the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation.
We do have the writings of Ellen White, but they -- according to her-- would not have been needed if we would but study our Bible. I refer to her writings, but I trust the Bible to give me the information I need for my salvation. As for the HEALTH MESSAGE, it is all in the Bible.
The main thing we as Adventsists need to remember is that we are not the "chosen people". The chosen people are the ones who follow God in the fullnes of the light they have been given.
Search the Bible for yourself. Get a good concordance and don't be afraid to try and prove the teachings you are being given. As a matter of fact if we don't prove the teachings, we are jsut as guilty as anyone else that blindly follows a man's word.
Study to show yourself approved. Don't judge everyone else on what you HEAR from the pulpit or in prepared and planned studies.

For Christians, Jesus fulfilled the Law of Moses. Therefore Christians are not held to the ceremonial parts of the Mosaic Law concerning of dietary purity and temple worship.
Christians are held to the moral law of God, some of which is expressed in the Ten Commandments.
The first Christians were Jews. They went to temple or synagogue on the Sabbath (Saturday) with fellow Jews.
Then they gathered on the first day of the week, the day on which Jesus rose from the dead (Sunday), with fellow Christians to tell stories of Jesus and share Eucharist.
Later Gentiles joined Christianity. The Apostles, filled with the Holy Spirit, decided that the Gentiles did not have to covert to Judaism. Therefore, they only attended on Sundays and did not have to abide by Jewish dietary laws.
Christians believe that Jesus' Resurrection has changed the Lord's Day to Sunday.
This has been the practice ever since.
With love in Christ.

It all begins with John 3:16. Then Phillipians 2:12 tells us "work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." Actually, read Phillipians 2:9 to 16... There is some good advice in these verses. Yes, there are errrors with interpretations in all religions, but Jesus died for all of us, He arose again and He's coming back one day soon to take us with Him if we have accepted Him and live according to His word. That's what is really important. The older I get, the more convinced I am that this is ALL that really matters in the end.

If you wnat to find the "Church that Jesus Built" it will take you a while to find the answers. First place to start is the Bible.
The "Church" was organized by Jesus from material that John prepared.
Now if you refuse to believe this premise the rest will not do you any good.
From this "Church" we find Antioch, Ephesus, Corinth, and all the others mentioned in the New Testament.
Now from this begining during Jesus' personal ministry grew his church.
His church was formed before the roman catholic organization.
It was formed before the protestant movement and all the organizations that have come out of that.
Can you find it? If you are willing to look

None. The very existance of the choice shows that none of these can be more correct than any other.
If god is a superior being, why oh why would he be soooo picky about words?? I'd think HE would have better things to ponder.
Not to mention, how do you know and how can you accept the King James, or any other, as they are all translations (unless of course you read Aramaic and Hebrew and Greek...)??

The new international version, and the king james version, are the correct bibles. You need to find a church that does not take excerpts out of the bible and turn it into something it really doesn't say. A proper church preaches right from the bible and does not take it out of context, if you find a church like that then you've found the right one.
