If God existed and was all powerful and all knowing the only explanation would be that he is all evil.

God did not create the tsunami. The earth is a living breathing entity. God did create the earth, but the tsunami is pure sequence of events that started naturally by a earth quake. We can not blame God for everything that happens on or in earth. I think if you really need to blame something, then maybe the lack of early warning systems and just the lack of knowing what to do when a disaster of this magnitude strikes will suffice.

Shure God The creater bought into being the forcses of creation and all that is in it.
And l see these events occur as a result of just the way the forses of creation move. The fact that thousands of people are in the wrong place at the wrong time, Well , as i see it , thats just the way of life. Death is coming to me some how, some way, more than likely when l least expect it. "BANG", there it comes, a tideal wave, and the struggle for life, some live ,some die, Shurely it is how you live that matters, and to exept that death is not an end but a new begining. And being a good God, like a good father, He has given man the Blue print of Himself, and a door through which we can enter into him. That Blue Print and That Door are one and the same--His Very own Son JESUS CHRIST.Wrap YOUR mind around Him ,read about Him absorb Him, open your eyes and mind to the reality.Do not look to the left, do not look to the right Keep your spiritual eyes to the front and you shall see Him

Sometimes God uses large natural disasters to get the attention of Nations, or to judge them. He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah by raining down fire and brimstone from heaven. He dealt with Egyptians with various types of infestations and plagues. We need to understand that God can do what He wants. We can only say that we do not like it.

It is true that large natural disasters like tsunamis have tendency to bring out the best in people, as they are drawn together to help each other. God knows what He is doing. And if you suffer in the midst of it, place your trust in the Lord, and He Will make it up to you in eternity...and that is a long time to do that.

The real question is, if God created tsunamis, why do they pull the water back before they strike, exposing all the yummy fish causing people to run out thinking they're going to grab a free dinner?

Just a cruel joke?

I like how people think that God is controlling everything with an "absolute" iron fist. This is a world filled with freedom of choice. It is an ever changing world. Live in it at your own risk and remember that "God helps those who help themselves." If you don't like Tsunamis, then move.

So many religions will try to pin bad things that happen on God but in reality it has been the generations of curses braught on the land by the people themselves. God is a good God. The fact is that when you are not under His covering and you do things that hurt the land, for instance New Orleans, There are perversities, division, witch craft, celebrations that are for these things, generations and generatons that spill innocent blood on the land, etc. so many tings that go on in different places that cause the earth to react. So it is not God it's the people. God is looking for a people that will repent for their land and live right for Him and Then we can stop the earth from bringing catastrophies like that. I know it's hard to swollow and it sounds like a bunch of hoopla but it's true. We can govern this earth and all that's in it if we just turn to Him, repent, get saved, know our righteousness and the authority He so wants to give us and use that authority to see better things in this world. that's it in a nut shell but there is so much more to it than that. Hope it helps any way.

God's power is greater than man made explosions and bombs. He does not create it to kill thousands of people I myself alone believe that God has it's own reasons to bring his people so they do not have to be control anymore by Satan

did you know that the main country it hit promotes child porn and child sexual abuse. they sell kids for sex there. just like some wonder if the hurricane of new Orleans ( yes i am one of them who Wonder this) if the reason that it was hit because of voodoo and black magic practiced there. as well as drunkenness(to drink is not a sin, but extreme drunkenness is) god said he wouldn't flood the whole world again all at once. he didn't say he wouldn't do it in parts. that is a question even i wonder about.

everything bad that happens on Earth isn't just because of God. The Devil also works on this Earth in evil ways. God also said in the Bible he gives us the Earth to look after therefore the destruction of the earth may be because of our wrong doings, such as global warming etc.

God does not exist.
Primitive people who initiated religious beliefs were using the social area of their brain to interpret natural phenomena imo. They went wrong, and yet still people like yourself are influenced by their 'the'ology, and believe 'God' is behind every change in the breeze etc. whereas you live in a confusion caused by a misapplication of otherwise (socially) useful mental processes.
God does not exist.

Take care,
Luke.
