Your right except that Jesus is the only natural Son of God who is from above. The rest are sons by either creation or adooption and are from below.

The word Son of God can be explained from two dimensions, first of all when the Bible refers to the word "son",you first of all think or refer to the person in question as one who has a covenant or a relationship with GOD.
From the original greek rendering, the word "son" is translated to have two meanings:Teknon and Huis.
Teknon, means a son in the general context but Huis is refering to THe Son of Adoption.
In any society (in bible days) run by Kings, the son of Adoption was the one who had been trained for the Throne, for Kingship.
The King normally had lots of children, male children, but only one of them could ascend the throne,so from a very young age,all the princes are grommed for Kingship which explains why royals do not act anyhow,But just one of these Princes would eventually become King, and he was referred to as THE SON OF ADOPTION,THE HUIS of the King.

The only prayer taught was The Lord's Prayer, which begins with 2 words "Our Father."

This seems to me to indicate that we are all children sons and daughters of the God.

"Our" is a 1st person possessvie pronoun indicating more than one person.

In the "Beatitudes" of "Sermon on the Mount," "Blessed are the peademakers for they are the children of the God."

The biological sonship of Jesus was settled by vote at the Nicene Council.

Figuratively speaking calling someone a "Godsend" is much like calling them a "son of the God." If one Honors his Father or mother, he does so by his actions. Is it not an Honor to know that your child has acted in a moral, ethical, principled, just, noble, & honorable manner while not under the watchful of the parent? Our parents are judge oftentimes by the actions of their children, "home training," is what the old ones called it.

The word definition of "son of God" is literal! We all are sons and daughters of God. We're made in his image, we are favored above all of his creation, and we have the power to talk and have a relationship with God himself that no other thing or creature will ever be able to do. It's really cool stuff! We are also called servants of God because we serve Him.
