...Christianity from laws that make the promotion of hate a crime?

Fact: Laws are passed by the majority.
Fact: The majority of law-makers in America are Christian.
Fact: Christianity could not be exempted from laws against the promotion of Hatred without the support of a majority of Christian law-makers.

Why would -Christian- law-makers exempt Christianity from laws that make the promotion of hatred a crime?

I think what the man is asking, in clearer terms, is this: "Why would the lawmakers of this country create "hate crime" laws that consider a crime motivated by religious intolerance against a Muslim or a Jew illegal, but not a crime against a Christian?"

However, I believe that this man is incorrect in his assumption; it is equally illegal to commit a crime, because of hatred motivated by religious intolerance, against a Christian.

Or, maybe, this man is saying that laws have been passed which "make the promotion of hate a crime" that are not applied to Christians promoting hatred. E.g., in England they're arresting Muslim religious leaders who've "promoted hatred" in their speeches. But in England no priest has been arrested for promoting hatred. Maybe none promoted hatred recently? (Keep in mind, there was a pretty high standard of "hatred promotion" for the imams arrested; they were really, clearly, preaching and advising hate.)

As far as I know, the laws against "promotion of hate", careful as those laws are to protect free speech, have not been broken by an American Christian and thus none have been brought up on charges.

Also, since you used the term "Christianity" instead of "Christians" when describing who or what was exempt from the laws that make the promotion of hate a crime, you may have been implying that Christianity itself, the religion, promoted hatred. This could certainly be argued. However, Christianity itself, as a religion, is immune to prosecution and is protected by the Constitution and numerous other judgments since about religious freedom. So, since there are many anti-hate interpretations of Christianity, the religion would not be subject to laws regarding the promotion of hate since it does not, unequivocally, do so.

Any interpretation of your question betrays a questionable assumption of one kind or another. Thus, the answer to your question is: "Christian lawmakers did not make Christianity exempt from laws that make the promotion of hate a crime."

Psalm 97:10 read "Hate evil, you who love the Lord"

Christian God is not only loving, He is also just and Holy.

His followers are explicitly exhorted to "seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of widow." Isa1:17

Christian lawmakers also submit to the rules concerning the creation of laws.

????? Actually, there are now 'hate' crimes!

Though, actually, all crimes are some form of hatred, most often, self repulsion or hatred of self...

catch them in their youth! Strict schooling, NOT the current Government pablum that turns out mealy mouthed bas tards!
These have little or no concept of Borders, Customs, Language, that make, and mold, and hold a society together as a united nation!

Your hatred towards them only make you feel that they hate you. They too have the right to survive on this earth.

Christianity remember is following the principles of the Bible. The bible unfortunately is written by men who felt "inspired" by a higher power. There fore you know how it is, what ever is documented and recorded by man has the big ol' chance of being tainted by men's issues ad bias. God message is universal Love and repentance of sins. Mans is a whole other.

because the christian law-makers are backstabbers and crooks especially if they're politicians. They want to please the people instead of pleasing God so they can get the position in the government system that they want and get more money. Politic pigs!
